I feel sick....

So I lasted 58minutes after building my 20k up to 27k. 2nd orbit 5 limpers to me in the bb at 50/100 I make it 600 with JJ no action. Next hand button raises to 275. I look down at KK in bb (I know card rack right) make it 1150. Yellowsub86 (Jeff Williams) in the bb makes it 2875. Button folds and I call. Flop A hi it goes check check. Turn blank check check. River blank check check I show he mucks I scoop a good pot, although I think I lost some value not 5 betting him. I fold a few orbits then utg pick up AKo and make it 300. 3 callers A hi flop I lead everyone folds another decent pot and I'm at like 25kish. A few other small pots when the following hand comes up. UTG makes it 300 the nutso Dane flats and the aggro kid in seat 10 makes it 1300. Folded around to me in the sb and I look down at KK again! I make it 3500 and after some tanking the utg player and the dane fold. The kid thinks and thinks and makes it 9500. I had 3 bet raisers frequently (mostly due to picking up a ton of hands) so I decided the is repopping lighter than normal so I decided to get it in OFCOURSE HE HAS AA board J hi two rags (probably would of gotten it in here anyways) and rest of board blanks and GG me felt so shitty getting up and walking out of the pokerroom. I'm so sick right now FFFFF Poker! Heading to the beach to get hammered off $7 beers.....Thanks for everyones support sorry for the disappointing result.

Game time!!!

Day 1b starts in 1hr and 15 minutes. I got a great long night of sleep last night, just finished an amazing breakfast with a glass of pineapple juice, my new favorite. After posting this think we are going for a walk get my exercise in before settling in to play all day. Thanks again for all the support and good wishes, hope to do you all proud.

On a more serious note,,,

Day 1b is tomorrow and we start at noon. Play starts with 20,000 in chips and blinds at 50/100. Levels are 1 hour and 15 minutes and antes start the third level @ 100/200/25. The structure is actually a lot steeper than I thought, but the long level times should help that. I am seated at table #10 Seat #4. Will try to post update sometime tomorrow, might be late. Thanks for everyone's good wishes and support.

So today we spent most of the day going down the lazy river and sipping umbrella drinks, well the GF, I enjoyed the Kaliks. We ate dinner at the Mesa Grill, which was just as good as I remembered from Vegas. While at dinner I gawked at Durrr across the restaurant man I'm a fanboy. But nothing compared to the GF's major crush on Daniel Negreanu. Earlier we went to watch a little of day 1a and spent time watching his table. She swore that they made eye contact and that he winked at her. I told her it was just an eye twitch and that she was nuts. After dinner I wanted to watch a little more of the Main Event, so we grabbed a cocktail and went to the pokerroom. Players were still on dinner break for another 15 minutes so we decided to wait for Daniel while listening to Joe Sebok and Gavin Smith record an episode of pokerroad radio. After acting like stalkers we finally got our chance as Daniel headed in a few minutes early. Heart pounding I walked straight up to him and told him of the GF's crush and asked if he would take a picture. I cannot stress what a gentleman and genuinely nice guy he was. Not only did he pose for a picture he stood and joked with us and let the GF fulfill her dreams by giving him a kiss on the cheek. (see below for pic/vid). While chatting with the legend I told him about her claim that he had winked at her previously during the day. He not only confirmed that he did infact wink at her, but later after play resumed, between hands he gave her a huge wink and yelled across the table and rows of other onlookers asking if I believed that he had winked previously. They even held a quick convo together about what tasty cocktail she was sipping on currently. I have heard about nothing since. I honestly believe if given the chance she would leave me for him in a heart beat. I have never seen her so excited. I seriously cannot stress enough how amazing Daniel was, so down-to-earth, and this was after 8hrs of playing with another 3 ahead.
Well video won't post, damn kids playing tourneys in the lobby, but shortly after it was shot he asked why we were down here and I told him I was playing day 1b tomorrow and he gave me a big pat (more like a slug) on the shoulder and told me not to make a dumb mistake and GL! What a gentleman! GF is in love, I'm a little jealous hahah.

The GF's post

This is kidicee-ette? the GF. just wanted to make a quick note that my luggage finally got here, around 11pm, everything in tact, just like the lady at the bar told me it would. So the trip is finally a-go, although we missed the welcome party (I feel that most of the players were in the lobby, playing sunday tournies anyways) The resort is absolutely beautiful!!! So many places to walk around, so many different ocean creatures to see while we explore this island! The tournament starts tomorrow, but kidicee plays on tuesday, so tomorrow is going to be fun in the sun, exploring more of the island, lazy river and whatever else lays ahead! I tried to post some pictures, but internet is too slow with all the kids grinding tourneys, so we will try in the morning!!!

Arrived!! But oh noes!

Got here early this morning but unfortunately the airline lost the GF's luggage and she isn't a happy camper. The claimed that they would have it here by 6:30pm, but its 7 and no word. The resort is amazing so much to do and see. Later tonight/tomorrow I'll have the young lady post some pictures. The room is perfect, giant king bed!!!! Hopefully luggage gets here so we don't miss Stars welcome party tonight. One time American Air... plz one time. haha hope tomorrows report is better.
